The Source for Sports Exclusive version of the CCM Extreme Flex E5.5 JR Goalie Blocker features all the same features as the catalog E5.5 with upgraded specs. These upgraded specs include; D30 Smart Foam protection on the index finger, Removable finger protection which allows you to customize the fit, and exclusive colorways that are unique to the Source for Sports family. Pair these upgrades with the FlexMotion cuff design, SpeedSkin material, and Nash reinforced palm, the E5.5 Source Exclusive offering gives you more "bang-for-your-buck" over the catalog model.

External Material

The CCM E5.5 blocker is wrapped in CCM’s proprietary SpeedSkin material. SpeedSkin on a blocker doesn’t have the same slide benefit as it does on pads. However, it is a lighter material than traditional Jenpro, and keeps the material consistent throughout a goalie’s entire setup.

Internal Construction

The E-Flex E5.5 features a lightweight blocking board that is made up of heat-laminated dual-density and PE foam. This blocker board constriction gives goalies optimal rebound control and a balanced feel.

Palm Material

The palm of the EFlex E5.5 is made up of reinforced Nash. This use of materials provides goalies with a nice blend of feel and durability.

Side Hand Protection

The sidewall of the E5.5 features a stiff sidewall design, paired with straight finger protection. A stiffened sidewall protects against shot impacts, and straight finger protection defends against pucks that ride up the stick.

Cuff

The adjustable FlexMotion cuff on the E5.5 SDC gives goalies ample mobility, while the velcro cuff allows goalies to customize their fit.

Hand Protection

Our Source for Sports Exclusive rendition of the CCM E5.5 Blocker features D30 Smart Foam in the index finger. D30 Smart Foam is lightweight and flexible in its natural state, but hardens on impact. Additionally, our Source Exclusive blocker features removable finger protection, giving goalies the ability to customize their fit.
